One thing Yahoo! does well is sports news, and they’ve taken coverage to new heights with the Beyond Gold app, covering this year’s Olympic Games in London. Kiip is also making its way up the charts with a new rewards platform, letting you manage your points on the go. And one of the most talked about apps this week isn’t new, but its new feature is all the rage: Spotify added streaming radio to its Android app, bringing a much-deserved update to the popular music service.

PTSD Coach (Free)

Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) is a serious circumstance of military service members, many of whom face the horror of war abroad and return home only to relive the memories. As awareness grows around PTSD, more resources are becoming available to veterans and service members, including a recent Android app called PTSD Coach. The app provides education on PTSD, information on professional care, a self-assessment tool and resources to find support. There’s also an in-app toolkit for managing the stresses of daily life, helping the user relax and use positive talk and other common self-help strategies. The app was launched by the VA National Center for PTSD and DoD’s National Center for Telehealth & Technology.
