After the revolutionary launch of the Lytro camera, the AfterFocus Android app seems a much more affordable way to get picture-perfect snapshots. with a similar concept to the Lytro, AfterFocus lets you create DSLR-style background blurred photos by selecting a focus area. The app is easy to use, and while it doesn’t have all the fancy capabilities of the Lytro (or a proper lens with good depth-of-field), it will let you quickly modify a photo after the fact to really emphasize an image’s foreground. The effect can really add some drama to your photos, and a pro version is expected next month with even more features.
