A big update emerged yesterday for the popular Swype Beta keyboard. The growing influence of Nuance (who bought Swype late last year) is more apparent than ever, and the app offers better functionality because of it. Also, as we gear up for the Google I/O conference (June 27-29 in San Francisco), the company refreshed its dedicated app to benefit both developers and visitors.
Google I/O 2012 (Free)
Beginning next week, the Google I/O conference is likely to herald some exciting things for Android fans. We may see a low-price Google Nexus tablet and perhaps get a sneak peek at Android 4.1 (Jelly Bean). Ahead of the event, Google updated its official Google I/O app.
Google I/O 2012 is optimized for both smartphones and tablets, and sports a slick new design. You can view the conference agenda, plan out which sessions you’ll visit and find them on the map. You can also browse information about some of the companies taking part and even view your conference schedule via a handy home page widget.
