Buka is a defense game which utilizes the touch capabilities of your Android smartphone. The game is created by Hexage which is quickly making a name for itself in the Android Market. The object of the game is to protect your blue bubble friend from the evil colored bubbles attacking him. To do this, you need to tap on the screen next to the attackers which will send a blast out that will push them back.

Tapping and holding on the screen will charge up a bomb attack that will destroy small bubbles and break apart the large ones. The game starts out as most games like this do, very easy. But as you progress through the levels you will find yourself overwhelmed needing to both move your bubble constantly and remember to blow up the attackers. Sometimes an exploded bubble will send out a green shard. The shards, when pushed into the blue bubble, will provide health that is desperately needed.

Overall, the game wasn’t anything groundbreaking for the platform but it was a lot of fun to play through. The graphics look great and the game is extremely responsive. It still could get pretty boring after a long time of playing. It’s available in a demo version, so check it out.
