Just to get it clear :) they have to work with Google Docs? Direct connection or is it also okay when you download the .DOC-file and edit it and afterwards upload it again?
Have you tried GDocs?
Associated Apps: GDocs, GDocs in Rich Format
GDocs was the first one I went with...it kills formatting on existing docs (but it at least lets me edit!). Haven't tried the Rich Format version...maybe that's the key. Thanks for the recco!
Right there with ya. Was gonna suggest Gdocs before I read (and appreciated) your comments about it fly-swatting existing documents. Honestly wonder where the Google geniuses are at on simple stuff like this. See Google Docs? YES! Use Google Docs? Uhhh...No. Sorry.
Exactly! I was bummed to find out that Google hadn't released a Docs app along with Goggles, Translate, etc. Maybe it's on the list for later?

What are your favorite Docs apps on Android?
CupcakesAndCode says,
Since the mobile browser version of Google isn't edit-friendly, I've been looking for apps that will let me edit Google Docs on-the-go. The problem that I've been running into is that most of the apps out there seem to lack editing capabilities, or they destroy formatting and revert docs to plaintext files. I've been looking at free apps to start but am totally open to downloading a paid app if it has this functionality!
Any reccos for Docs editors?
