Why not have outlook sync with Google (Contacts) and have everything synced to your Android device?

Thanks for the response. I believe that ap only works with a Microsoft Exchange Server (business contacts). I'm trying to get my personal contacts loaded and occasionally updated. I don't really need a regular sync.

There are several apps for that available. You can run them once and upload all your contacts in such a way:
