APPOLICIOUS ADVISOR RATING:

5 of 5 bars
  • PRICE: Free
  • TASTY: Upload and manipulate your photos, or view those of others in big-screen brilliance.
  • BUMMER: None, really.
  • COOL: You can scroll through beautiful public photos, right from the app’s home screen.

Flickr for Tablet is a sharp and no-hassle way to check out the photos you and your friends have posted to Flickr.

Your Flickr photos will look great on the large, bright tablet screen. The app tunes you in to your own account and to the photos you’d be able to view from an Internet browser, and it also brings you popular photos from around the site to check out as well.

The app uploads the photos you take with your tablet to your Flickr account automatically, and you can of course upload, delete and tag photos of your own whenever you want.

Flickr combined with a tablet screen is a beautiful way to check out some great photography online, as well as share your own with others. It’s not the official Flickr app, but it’s free and totally worth the download.
