APPOLICIOUS ADVISOR RATING:

4 of 5 bars
  • PRICE: Free
  • TASTY: Send post card photos through the mail.
  • BUMMER: Touchnote won't let you use your friends' images.
  • COOL: Opt to pay for just one card, or buy packages and send as many as you like.

Touchnote is a fun way for Android tablet users to reconnect via snail mail.

Users create postcards from their own photos and then send them through the mail to family and friends. Because who doesn't like to get a little something (that's not a bill) in the mailbox every once in awhile?

Creating and sending a post card is easy. Find a photo in the tablet's photo gallery, snap a picture on the spot or browse through Facebook images. Unfortunately, users are limited to their own Facebook albums only, and some images might be too small to produce good postcards.

Sending the actual post card can be a bit pricey at about $3. From the looks of it, though, it's worth it,  because it may hang on your mom's fridge for years.
