Finger Painting Book is a fun tablet app that won't ruin your kitchen table!

Kids can use an on-screen color palette or voice recognition software to select a color. The app easily recognized simple colors.

Set up like a coloring book, this app has a lot of pictures to fill in. Some of these drawings are rather small though, which makes it difficult to stay between the lines, even if you have tiny fingers. The finger paints also wipe out all of the the picture's detail.

The app has some loud sound effects, but they can easily be turned off if parents find them grating.

Finger Painting Book is easy to use: tilt to turn the page and shake to erase. I never did discover how to change brush size, though. This probably isn't the best tablet painting app out there, but it's likely not the worst, either.
