Check out appoLearning.com, because your kids deserve the very best educational apps!
AndroidApp.com’s own Marty Gabel recommends the photo touch-up tool Pixlr-O-Matic and that’s all I need to know. It’s on my list to download.
With a couple of touches you can layer filters to change the look, adjust lighting, and create a border. The early user reviews say the effects are dramatic and the app is easy to use. Use your integrated camera or choose an image from your device’s gallery as the starting point.
After your updates, save your image back to your device gallery – in high def if the original image sported that resolution – or share your results with your social network.
Dining Deals – Food Coupons (Free)
The coupon craze continues here with an app that delivers bargains for over forty major restaurant chains and fast food. Bring up codes for online ordering or digital coupons for in-store use. You can filter the deals in a variety of ways or browse by brand. Each entry includes a list of restrictions, if any, and the expiration date.
If you want others to join you, you can share the coupons over text messaging, email, and social networking.
City Legends (Free)
The latest entry in the “build-it-and-run-it-yourself” genre lets you and your friends create your own metropolis with stadiums, business centers, a town hall, even an arch. Need inspiration? Check the included screenshots of great cities for ideas. Choose from over eighty homes, buildings, and factories when constructing your dream town.
Once built, collect taxes from your city’s buildings, get notified when goods are sold, or send gifts to your friends to make them jealous.
