Media Show on PC is a new app from Androidsx which allows you to view the pictures from your phone on a PC, Mac or TV. You can even download, edit, and store the photos on your computer for use with sites like Facebook, Twitter, or Flickr, all without any USB connection.
Upon opening the app, you are given a URL to type into your web browser. After typing it and the default password, you can view all your phone photos on your computer. I don’t take pictures with my Android, so I ran around taking pictures of all my nerd stuff for you guys. You can change the password and even the URL to some extent to protect your photos from other people on the same Wi-Fi network.
Once you are in the site you can scroll through photos one by one, maximize their size, or even start a slideshow if sharing the photos with friends or family. You can easily download and save any of the pictures, or open them in a new web page if you want to share them that way. It’s definitely nice to grab all your photos without the use of any USB cables or anything of the like, but I’m not sure how necessary this app really is, as I wouldn’t get much use out of it. Though, I can definitely imagine situations where it would be useful. Regardless, the app is totally free, so check it out.
