by Ian Black

Do you feel the wave? Cool apps for Android based tablets are started to swell up like the next breaker heading for shore. In today’s fresh apps, you’ll find the tablet-oriented FriendCaster Tab for Facebook and Catch Notes, which just got updated with tablet support.

FriendCaster Tab for Facebook (Free)

Billed as Honeycomb’s best Facebook app, this social network front-end was specifically designed for Android tablets.

Features include the ability to enter status updates, browse your news feed, like and comment on entries, and receive updates in the background. The app includes a widget for your tablet’s home screen that will show you what’s new.

Rave reviews in the Android Market say that most people like the design.

Catch Notes update (Free)

Are you a compulsive note-taker? Catch makes for a perfect digital storage place for all your scribbling.

With a few quick taps, you can capture and share your text, voice, images, and your location. All your entries will be synced and then backed up for safekeeping. You will need to register for a free account at Catch.com to make it all work.

This update adds support for Honeycomb tablets, starred notes, the ability to add multiple attachments when editing, improves tag selecting, and lets you toggle geo-tagging of notes on or off.
