Choose the news you follow with Trove for Android

by Kate Currin

If you're a news junkie, you'll love the free Trove app. I prefer to get news via Twitter these days, and this news app is very similar to a Twitter feed. The app gives users access to more than 10,000 news sources based on "channels."

The great feature of the app is that you get to pick your favorite channels to aggregate your personal news feed. For instance, my feed is filled with all things related to the Royal Family and Kate Middleton right now because, for some reason, I'm obsessed. I just love that you can choose the news you follow!

It's the perfect app for tracking news on a certain subject. If you want to know everything that's going on with the death of Osama bin Laden, simply subscribe to the Osama channel. Or, if you want to know everything you possibly can about the NBA playoffs, subscribe to the NBA channel, and so on and so forth.

There are more than 3,000 channels and subjects in this comprehensive and innovative news app from politics and President Obama to science and NASA.

Click the star next to the news headline to save to your favorites section of the Trove news app. You also sign-up using your Facebook log-in so you can track information across mobile devices and when you use the Trove website on your personal computer.
