The Charge and the Incredible are the first Android devices from Verizon to feature forward-facing cameras.
The DROID Charge is designed with Samsung’s 4.3-inch Super AMOLED Plus display, which is said to be setting a new touchscreen standard for brightness, clarity and outdoor visibility. It’s also equipped with both a rear-facing 8-megapixel camera with LED flash and a front-facing 1.3-megapixel camera for both stills and video chatting.
It features a 1GHz processor and a HTML5-compliant web browser that maximizes high-speed 4G LTE connectivity for faster downloads and graphics processing. Let’s not forget the Mobile Hotspot connectivity and a virtual QWERTY keyboard, with Swype. The handset is $299 with a new two-year agreement.
As for the DROID Incredible 2, it features the Android 2.2 platform, a crisp 4-inch super LCD display, next-generation 1GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor and 3G Mobile Hotspot that can connect up to five Wi-Fi-enabled devices.
With its sleek, all-black design, the DROID Incredible 2 by HTC is a global-ready Android smartphone, allowing customers to enjoy wireless voice and data service in more than 200 countries, with more than 125 capable of handling 3G speeds.
It, too, features an 8-megapixel main camera with dual LED flash and 1.3-megapixel front facing camera for video chat. This phone can be purchased for $199 with a new two-year agreement.
