TheNextWeb (Free)

Need more technology news? Check out TheNextWeb.

This tech news source spun out of the The Next Web Conference in 2008. Now the app is available for downloading to your Android.

Browse and read news articles, view the YouTube videos, download the podcasts, search Twitter for tech related keywords, and more.

File Transfer Free (Free)

It can still be challenging to get big files off of your phone. File Transfer Free is here to ease the pain.

After you launch the app, simply browse to the file you want in phone memory or on your SD card, select the contact or contacts from your phone’s list, then send. Alternatively, you can send directly from your Gallery using File Transfer Free. Either way, you’ll get an email receipt that your file was sent successfully.

For no charge, you can send up to 150MB per day. For a fee, you can go higher.
