by Ian Black

Prep for spring with a new job (Monster Job Search), a new fantasy football league (MFL Fantasy Football), and a new set of time management skills (ActionComplete).

Monster Job Search (Free)

Whether you need a job or just want a better one, this app can help.

Monster Job Search lets you go mobile with your job hunt. Search by location, title, skills or a combination of all three, and then apply right over your phone. Use your Monster account to access your resume, edit your cover letters, and manage your job applications. You can also save job searches or forward job postings to friends.

MFL Fantasy Football ($2.99)

Sure football season’s over, but that just means we can start prepping for the next one.

Use this app to access and manage your team. Set up your draft picks and get started. One tap shows you “Who’s Hot” and “Who’s Cold” once the new season begins, and another tap shows you up-to-the-minute NFL scores.

ActionComplete (Free)

Everyone can get more efficient at time management. This app provides a task organization tool based on David Allen’s "Getting Things Done" (GTD) methodology.

Enter your actions, waits, projects, and ideas into the app and then tag them with people, places or tags of your own creation. Use the app to filter relevant tasks based on where you are or whom you are with. It links to your Google Contacts, Google Maps, and the ActionComplete web site.
