Starbucks Card Widget (Free)

The trickiest thing about gift cards is figuring out how much money remains on them. The Starbucks Card Widget seeks to end this problem, at least for your Starbucks cards. The widget shows your current balance and your tally of Starbucks reward points.

You can also purchase stuff using your phone at participating Starbucks. You submit the amount over your phone and show the resulting barcode to the Starbucks cashier for scanning.

Restwise (Free)

Serious athletes need to track their workouts, in part, so that they know how much to rest between exercise sessions. Enter up to eleven workouts in one day then get your daily recovery score and also advice from the app.

A helpful chart shows your recovery score over days, weeks, or months. Users can register at the Restwise.com site to get the full program.

Need more? The Radio.com app lets you search for other Internet radio stations and save them to your list as favorites. Choose which station to be the default when you launch the app, then share what you listen to with your friends over Facebook, Twitter, and email.
