by Ian Black

Learn about high-tech and then use some! In today’s fresh Android apps, Popular Science delivers their first Android app describing the latest “mad” science. NewEgg lets you explore the latest gadgets and gear with theirs. Then, Nuance allows you to input to your phone in four different ways in their FlexT9 app.

FlexT9 ($4.99)

Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus, and Android is from the future! This amazing app leverages four different input methods. Speak your mind and Nuance’s state-of-the-art Dragon voice recognition will transcribe it. Or, write your thoughts using your finger like a pen, trace across a keypad without lifting your finger, or tap on the keypad like you normally do.

This 1.0 version of the app costs more (currently $4.99) than many app do, but you’ll likely end up saving tons of time with your new fast and flexible entry methods.
