by Caitlin M. Foyt

Today's Fresh Android apps features a way to turn your phone into a fully functional TV remote, a quick and easy way to blog on the go, and a brand new version of a popular web browser.

Google TV Remote (Android) FREE

Part of an upcoming Google TV software update, Google Inc. is rolling out a series of new applications and customization options for the service over the coming week. First up is the Google TV Remote app, which allows users to speak into their phone in order to search and bookmark channels and websites on their Google TV system. It is, essentially, a remote control. Google TV, a new service that combines TV, the entire web, and apps, as well as a way to search across them all, only recently made its commercial debut about two months ago.

Posterous (Android) FREE

Posterous, a micro-blogging website, has just released its own Android application. Posterous is a service that’s designed to simplify blogging by creating a customizable webpage in which users can easily and quickly post text, pictures, and video to their blogs while on the go. To post, just click the “post” button and start typing. Or, you can click on the addition symbol along the top of the screen to add pictures or videos. To streamline your social networking experience, you can set the app so that Posterous will also update your Twitter, Facebook, Flickr, or a handful of other social networks simultaneously once you're done posting.

Dolphin Browser Mini (Android) FREE

A Beta version of the Dolphin Browser Mini app has just popped up in the Android marketplace. This particular app, working essentially as an update to the pre exisiting Dolphin HD and the standard Dolphin browsers, has been designed with the intention to be cleaner, more simple, and faster than other browsers. It supports gesture commands and can open an infinite number of tabs. There is also a tool box and ability to sync bookmarks.
