Fresh Android Apps for Dec. 3: MySpace Mobile, Pandora Radio update

by Caitlin M. Foyt

Today's Fresh Android apps features your key to reviving your MySpace account and an update to everyone’s favorite Internet radio service.

MySpace Mobile (Android) FREE

Where MySpace once dominated in the online world of the social networking websites, Facebook now reigns supreme. So as to avoid being left standing in the dust, MySpace is rebranding themselves, changing up their purpose and the function of their website.

Now, they are a social networking website with an emphasis on entertainment, providing users with up-to-date information on music artists, celebrities and other relevant information. The MySpace Mobile app is a way for users to upload pictures and videos, share links and sync their MySpace accounts through the app, similar to how they can from the website.

Pandora Radio (Android) FREE

Pandora Radio has recently updated its application for Android. If you haven’t yet given Pandora a try, it isn’t too late to see what all of the fuss is about.

This app helps you to create custom radio “stations” based on the songs or artists that you are most interested in. The service will not only play these songs or artists, but it will respond by playing selections that are musically similar. Users let Pandora know whether or not these selections are a thumbs up or a thumbs down, which the service notes for future selections. If you’re already a Pandora user, you can just log-in to enjoy your stations.
