Fresh Android Apps for Nov. 4: Twitter update, QuickLogger, FaceGoo

by Caitlin M. Foyt

Today's Fresh Android apps may have you tweeting with greater ease, exercising more than usual or inspiring you to turn your ex-boyfriends face into a globby mess.

Twitter update (Android) FREE

Twitter applications for Android have the tendency to be a little buggy, with Twitter's own app no exception. To make updating your feed a smoother process, the developers have updated the layout of the timeline and introduced a Tweet details page. These changes are expected to make it easier to click on links, replay, re-tweet or favorite a tweet. Clicking the re-tweet icon also now provides the option to quote a tweet.

QuickLogger Fitness (Android) FREE

QuickLogger Fitness is an app that tracks the progress of your exercise, the intensity of your work out and the amount of calories burned. This app logs more than 30 different exercise activities from cycling to rugby and then categorizes them all into a spreadsheet for your reference later.

FaceGoo (Android) $0.99

If imagining your mother-in-law with extra chins brings a smile to your face, you may get a kick out of FaceGoo. This app is a photo studio that turns your boring pictures into fun stretchy canvases. Use this app to load photos from your image library then stretch, pinch and twist your photos into new works of art. Some call it goofing off, others call it therapy.
