Even though smart phones are capable of voice calls, we still love to IM our friends on these popular mobile devices.  The long-awaited arrival of Beejive to the Android Market is a sign that feature-rich instant messenger tools are serious about mobile users, while eBuddy’s mobile chat tool reached a major milestone of 100 million downloads.

Calling all gamers

And just to remind you the prevalence of Google’s devices, Nintendo’s late entry into the 3DS gaming market reiterates Android as a platform for gamers. It’s the Apple devices, primarily the iPod Touch and iPhone, that still dominate the mobile gaming scene, but the overall shift to mobile is an undeniable force established console manufacturers will have to consider.

Google Gallery arrives

Need help keeping track of all the Android devices out there?  A new gallery from Google can help you out.  Repurposing its failed phone store URL, Google has launched a phone gallery for devices that offer the best Google experience.  This means you’ll also find phones that aren’t Android, but still make good use of Google Apps for search, maps, voice and more.

Where do I leave a complaint?! There are too many factual errors with this article! Since when and how does Apple dominate the mobile gaming scene? And how is the Nexus One a failed phone? Take this article off or retype it.

Your claims are the equivalent of claiming the virtual boy was a huge success...

Hey Rick take a chill pill... First off it says "Apple devices" not that Apple dominates mobile gaming. And second the link is for "Google's failed phone store" that has been turned to a phone gallery, not failed phones. Pay more attention next time before you start "leaving complaints" and telling them to remove the article.

Well regardless of how "worked up" you think Rick was about the article, his comments and reading comprehension were quite correct.

How is it any different saying Apple Devices dominate the mobile gaming scene than saying that Apple is dominating the mobile gaming scene? As far as I can tell, both those phrases convey the exact same idea.

Secondly, Google's "failed phone store" sold one phone...which was the Nexus One. Which is what Rick was referring to.

How about you pay more attention to the article Eric? It's like you're trying to be a giant pedant here without having the comprehension to pull it off.
