Dell introduces smaller Streak
Looks like Dell has another Android tablet on the way, introducing a 5” sibling for the 7” Streak. Released earlier this year, the Streak was among the first Android tablets to be launched from a major manufacturer, giving hope to the possibilities of an iPad competitor.
Dell quietly announced the upcoming Streak tablet during Oracle OpenWorld this week, leaving out many of the details around the pint-sized device. We can, however, expect that the new tablet will be on Best Buy’s store shelves this holiday season. The ongoing support of Android’s mobile operating system is good for Google, even as there are still kinks to work out.
