New Android apps worth downloading: Dolphin Zero, Block Calls & Caller ID, The Sims FreePlay update

Privacy is the order of the day in today's group of fresh apps you'll want to check out. First up is Dolphin Zero, a private browser that blocks things like tracking cookies and saving your personal information. Following that is Block Calls & Caller ID, a call privacy app that blocks scammers, identifies telemarketers, and lets you control who can call you. In the games department today is The Sims FreePlay, a free-to-play version of the popular simulation title about guiding the lives of small groups of people.

Dolphin Zero (Free)

The app automatically blocks calls from known scammers, and also provides abilities like reverse number look-up, so you can find out who it is that's trying to contact you.

The Sims FreePlay update (Free)

How your characters respond to stress and interact with each other is where the game gets interesting, and The Sims FreePlay supports Sims getting married, having babies, caring for pets and more. You can also earn “LifeStyle Points” for your Sims to buy them things and generally make them happier. The latest update to The Sims FreePlay adds new quests for the holiday season, and new items you can buy or unlock for your characters.

Who’s it for? Players who enjoy simulations or are big fans of The Sims will want to grab this free-to-play option.
