ShopTrotter (Free)

ShopTrotterWhat’s it about? ShopTrotter is a shopping app aimed at “jetsetters,” helping travelers to find the best shopping in whatever city they might visit.

What’s cool? What you get when you download ShopTrotter is not a shopping app, but instead, a shopping guide. The app brings you information about lots of stores in any given city, mentioning what they offer and what's new, where the discounts are, and providing directions from wherever you are to the store you want to visit. ShopTrotter allows you to create shopping itineraries, so you can get exactly what you want from exactly where you want to buy it, in the quickest and most efficient way possible.

Who’s it for? Users who travel and want to find great local shopping, or are just looking to maximize their shopping efficiency, should check out ShopTroptter.

What’s it like? ShopSavvy Barcode Scanner and RetailMeNot Coupons are two more shopping apps that can make things more convenient, and cheaper, for shoppers.

Fist of Awesome update ($3.99)

Fist of AwesomeWhat’s it about? Side-scrolling brawler Fist of Awesome has players fighting sentient deer and bears who have taken over Earth in an alternate timeline.

What’s cool? Something has happened to the space-time continuum, and mean forest animals have supplanted humans as the dominant forms of life on Earth. Only you can stop them, wielding the giant Fist of Awesome, which has taken over your nervous system. Fist of Awesome has players working through side-scrolling levels that sport old-school pixel graphics in a brawler that's full of wry humor and goofiness, as well as punching bears in the face. The app's new update improves controller support for the NVIDIA Shield and allows users to make use of Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 controllers to play the game.

Who’s it for? If you like old-school action games and the prospect of fist-fighting with bears, you'll want to check out Fist of Awesome.

What’s it like? You'll also have a good time with Combo Crew and Samurai II: Vengeance.
