What’s cool? With the aim of “rethinking radio” and making it more social, Mixcloud is a streaming music app that connects listeners with DJs. But Mixcloud also includes more content than just regular radio shows, with podcasts and specialized mixes created by its DJs mixed in as well. The app provides users with a personalized feed based on what they like, but also includes a “discover” tab that lets you seek out new things to enjoy, as well.

Sketchman (Free)

SketchmanWhat’s it about? Battle through stick-figure enemies and avoid deadly obstacles in a notebook world in Sketchman, a side-scrolling endless.

What’s cool? Sketchman is marked by an awesome notebook aesthetic that makes it look like you're playing through a world doodled into creation. As the Sketchman, your goal is to run as far as you can, avoiding things like spikes, saw blades and barrels, and fighting through enemies who want to take you down. You can jump, double-jump and glide to surmount obstacles, as well as fire a gun to take on bosses and enemies, but you'll need quick reflexes and expert timing to succeed.

Who’s it for? Fans of endless runners with a more action-oriented streak will find Sketchman's addition of elements like bosses an interesting riff on the genre.
