ShadowArc (Free)

ShadowArcWhat’s it about? Arcade rhythm game ShadowArc requires players to carefully maneuver two beams around a circle as obstacles march toward the center of the screen, using each beam to block the obstacles.

What’s cool? Taking a bit of a laid back approach to arcade, rhythmic gameplay, ShadowArc tasks players with maneuvering a pair of colored paddles around a circle in order to use them to block similarly colored obstacles. The goal is to block all the approaching walls before they reach the center of the circle, but you can only block the obstacle with the matching color, which means you’ll need to coordinate between your left and right thumbs and react quickly to approaching threats. ShadowArc includes 75 levels and five different endless game mode, so there’s plenty to keep players busy here.

Who’s it for? Fans of casual arcade titles with good music should try ShadowArc.

What’s it like? Super Hexagon is an arcade title with similar gameplay mechanics, but with a more intense take on the idea.

Making your way through the prison means solving puzzles in various rooms, and dodging the monsters that can be found within the prison.
