Pandora update (Free)

What’s it about? Internet radio service Pandora streams music to you, creating radio stations based on things you like.

What’s cool? Pandora is similar to other Internet radio services in that it streams music your way over your Internet connection, but takes a slightly different approach to, say, Spotify – instead of just letting you build playlists, Pandora takes bands and songs you like and finds tracks that you might like based on your preferences. The result are radio stations you customize as you listen to them, and which can bring you new music you might not have ever heard otherwise. The latest update to Pandora allows you to post your curated music lists to Facebook to help others discover new things worth listening to, and allows you to read up on your favorite bands, albums and tracks to learn more about them.

Who’s it for? Music fans looking to discover new stuff: Pandora can help.

What’s it like? As mentioned Spotify offers a similar streaming service, as does iHeartRadio.

Opera Browser (Free)

What’s it about? Receiving a fresh re-release, Opera Browser brings a browsing alternative that can customize the experience to you.

What’s cool? At it's core, Opera is a mobile web browser much like most others, but it offers a lot of handy additional features, like customized news updates that focus only on things that interest you, and a Speed Dial function that lets you set your favorite, most-visited sites for easy access. The app also doubles as a media manager that lets you listen to, watch and rename files you download to your device, and is optimized for snappy loading and easy use.

Who’s it for? If you're in the market for a new mobile browser, check out Opera and its host of useful features.

What’s it like? You might also try Dolphin Browser or Firefox for your mobile web-surfing needs.

Fast & Furious 6: The Game (Free)

What’s it about? Take to the streets and race tons of cool cars in the official game based on the new movie Fast & Furious 6.

What’s cool? The Fast & Furious films are known for awesome cars and fast action, and that's pretty much what you're signing up for with Fast & Furious 6: The Game. The focus is on racing cars through a variety of different environments and maps, and the more races you participate in and win, the better cars and upgrades will be available to you. In addition to building your reputation by besting the other drivers on the street racing circuit, you can earn money for upgrades by completing hijacking heists, and compete in online tournaments with other drivers. You can even join a competitive “crew” and work together to climb the game's online leaderboards.

Who’s it for? Fans of racing titles with great graphics, or just the Fast & Furious films, should grab this one.

What’s it like? Other quality racing titles include Drift Racing Championship 2 and Asphalt 7.
