Homesnap Real Estate (Free)

What’s it about? Real estate app Homesnap helps you to find out information about any home just by snapping a photo of it, to help you get an idea of its stats, how much it sold for, and what houses in the area might be worth.

What’s cool? There’s a lot of number-crunching that goes into home ownership and buying a new house, and Homesnap can help make the process easier by providing tons of useful data. The app helps you find listings and open houses in your area, as well as recently sold houses, so you can get an idea of what the market is like and what things are selling for. You can also snap photos of some 90 million properties and instantly get statistical information on them, as well as their last sales prices.

Who’s it for? Anybody who could benefit from real estate info on houses, sales, open houses and more should check out Homesnap.

Spotify update (Free)

What’s it about? Stream all kinds of songs from the Internet straight to your Android devices with Spotify.

What’s cool? The latest update to Spotify fixes a host of glitches and other issues, and now offers the ability to filter your searches and playlists to find exactly what you want to listen to. Spotify offers free streaming of its huge library of songs and albums to your web browser, but if you’re willing to spring for a premium subscription, you can listen to all those songs (and the playlists you create from them) on your Android devices. Spotify lets you sync across multiple devices to maintain playlists and favorites, it includes social sharing capabilities so you can see what your friends are listening to and make recommendations to them. Spotify’s offline mode lets you download songs to listen to even when you’re not connected to the Internet.

Who’s it for? Spotify fans and premium account users (and anyone who wants access to a huge amount of music), this app’s for you.

What’s it like? You can do even more streaming with Pandora Internet Radio, and access your cloud-saved songs with Google Play Music.

Mosaique ($0.99)

What’s it about? Matching game Mosaique tasks players with re-arranging colored tiles in order to match multiple tiles of a certain color to clear them.

What’s cool? Mosaique isn’t too different from most of the match-3 titles out there. At its heart, it’s a game about manipulating various colored tiles in order to make combinations and clear them from the screen. Unlike other titles, such as Bejeweled, Mosaique isn’t meant to make you stress. There are no time limits on your performance, and the game’s soundtrack is designed to be somewhat mellow and relaxing. The experience is tailored to you, so it’s only as strategic and challenging as you want it to be.

Who’s it for? Matching game fans and those who like an experience that’s a mix of easy-going and strategic will have a good time with Mosaique.

What’s it like? Try Bejeweled Blitz for a faster, more intense experience (that you can challenge friends), and Dungeon Raid for a more strategic game.
