Fresh Android Apps for May 31: Evernote Hello, Ticketmaster, BMX Stunts

by Ian Black

I won’t ask if you’ve ever forgotten someone’s name because we all have. Use Evernote Hello to make sure it never happens again.

For last minute concert tickets, download Ticketmaster and for fun, check out BMX Stunts.

Evernote Hello (Free)

Get psyched for this app’s attempt to solve the age-old problem – matching names to faces for those in your life.

The cloud storage service Evernote now lets you create quick profiles of people, including a photo that you capture, details pulled from your address book and perhaps specifics the person enters using your phone. When you have more time, fill in extras like location and notes.

After a few entries, view all your connections in a mosaic of photos – and practice recalling their names by sight.

Ticketmaster (Free)

Purchase tickets while anywhere with this mobile version of Ticketmaster. Browse selections by time (like today), most popular, or by venue or artist. Go deeper by filtering lists by specifics such as music genres.

Drop tickets into your cart then press the button to add the event to your device calendar. Check out to buy the tickets right over your phone.

Choose the orders tab to review tickets you’ve already purchased. And yes, you still have to pay exorbitant service charges on each ticket.

BMX Stunts (Free)

How do ninjas get from one place to another? They hop on board a stunt bicycle and start pedaling!

This stickman must ride fast and jump accurately to get where he is going. When catching air, choose one of eight different tricks to score more points. While riding capture stars, coins and other power-ups to make it to the next level.

Ride in three fun worlds – a boardwalk, a cave, and an abandoned cityscape – and try to catch the katana sword so you can slice through obstacles.
