Samsung Galaxy S III hypes the crowd with possible April release

There has been a lot of back and forth about Samsung’s device releases and upgrades, particularly around the Galaxy S III. But after Samsung denied a possible April launch for its newest flagship smartphone, the manufacturer’s China president Kim Young-Ha hints that April is back on for the Galaxy S III’s release date. We’ve also heard that Samsung’s Galaxy Nexus LTE will be available to Sprint customers in April, making for another dizzying development in the mobile world. Toshiba’s more certain on its LT170 release, set to ship in Italy in the coming weeks, while T-Mobile is looking to clear some inventory with a massive markdown on a string of Samsung devices.

Samsung Galaxy S III

The launch date for the Samsung Galaxy S III is iffy, but the company’s president Kim Young-Ha recently suggested that we could see the manufacturer’s latest flagship phone some time in April. Samsung’s getting more aggressive with its device roll out (if that’s possible), as Young-Ha discusses the company’s strategy for China in particular. With a 4.8-inch screen and a ceramic case, the Samsung Galaxy S III is their latest flagship phone, and could be as thin as 7 millimeters. The device is also expected to feature updated cameras, Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich and LTE support.

Samsung Galaxy Nexus (Sprint)

It’s been a long time coming, but Sprint customers may be able to get their hands on the Samsung Galaxy Nexus next month. The ICS-powered device is reportedly hitting Sprint stores on April 15, and while Sprint’s 4G LTE network isn’t yet available, the Galaxy Nexus comes ready with an LTE radio for future activation. Other perks for the Galaxy Nexus include its massive Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen at 4.65-inches with 1280x720 resolution, a dual-core 1.2 GHz Cortex-A9 processor and built-in NFC capabilities that are designed to work with Google Wallet.

Toshiba LT170 tablet

Toshiba’s been steady on the tablet releases lately, with the LT170 getting ready to hit the Italian market. Shortly after a demonstration of the Excite 10 LE at Mobile World Congress earlier this year, Toshiba’s latest is a budget-friendly tablet with less than stellar specs. The LT170 comes with a 1GHz ARM Cortex processor, 512MB of RAM and a 7-inch, 1024x600 screen. Worst of all, the LT170 ships with Android 2.3 Gingerbread, missing out on Honeycomb and ICS capabilities. The Toshiba LT170 is already available for pre-order, priced just under $400, with shipments expected in the coming weeks.

Samsung devices on sale at T-Mobile

For a two-week long promotion known as Magenta Deal Days, T-Mobile is slashing prices for smartphones and tablets, all of which happen to be Samsung devices. Up to $150 off, the biggest deals include the Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus and the 10.1, as well as the Galaxy S Blaze 4G, Exhibit II 4G and the Galaxy S 4G. Looks like T-Mobile is doing a bit of spring cleaning, offering mail-in rebates for customers that sign-up for a new contract or are eligible for an upgrade. The promo runs through April 3.

There is no hype, probably two, maybe three people gushing over this pile of junk. There will be another new phone in 2 weeks or less after this one, so don't get to excited. Android is extremely lame. Worst OS in history, ever, worse than Windows and that's saying a lot.

Oh please!! Samsung is a wannabe, there no Apple. When I read articles like this one I just LOL I find it ridiculous but I must say it does put a smile on my face. Samsung is a typical Korean copycat of anything Japanese or American. Korean brands copy everyone else.... they are not creative or original. I remember when Hyundai came to the US it was i tin can and before LG changed its name from crapy Goldstar. LMAO
riga plez (lol)
