Jelly Defense update ($2.99)

It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas. At least, that’s the look you’ll find in this update to the squishy tower defense game, Jelly Defense. As you may recall, Jelly Nation (really Jelly Planet) has been invaded by aliens. You must help save the jam by building towers with special powers to defend the homeland.

This update provides a cheery holiday soundtrack and two winter levels that include reindeer and cookies. You might also enjoy that fact there’s a new “endless” level and that completing the game now doesn’t automatically increase the difficulty level.

Overkill (Free)

Complete social collapse, anyone? If you ever hankered for the end of civilized society, this is your Android game. Political correctness, or rather just plain correctness, as well as police, laws and all other municipal infrastructure have vanished. You’ve got a gaggle of deadly weapons and a bunch of time on your hands, so start shooting.

Blast through 20 waves with over 14 weapons. Collect the cash you garner from murdering apocalyptic survivors and use it to buy more and better guns. Intimidate your friends through OpenFeint.
