I wanted to like this app

I've tried ScreenShot It and totally loved it. However, in some strange twist, that app was draining my battery like no other. I uninstalled it immediately. I found this app as an alternative and found that it works okay. Sometimes, I feel like I can't even use it as I have to go into the app, open it up, accept the terms, turn on the feature THEN snap shot the screen. It's such a tedious process! Other times, I find that the app runs in the background and sparingly works. I seriously wanted to like this app bc it does serve its purpose but practicality, it's not great. I'm only using this app because I feel there's not much other options that aren't malicious. I running a rooted 2.2 Samsung Infuse w/ Infused v2 Gingerbread

Must have for rooted devices!!

This app is a really clean and easy to use screen grabber app.
To use just install the app and give it root access and you’re all set! Give your phone a good shake, or make a loud noise (I can see it now - people screaming at their phone) and *snap* picture is taken! No funky extra crap on your screen grab image like other apps.

There is the ability to record movies with this app that I haven’t tested at all but may be a neat feature for someone out there.

ShootMe is not a suicidal app as the title makes you think. It's a screen capture (or a print-screen app or whatever you want to call it) and it's a damn good one! Shake your phone to take screenshots or yell at it (whichever option you choose) it's super simple.

This will never be missing from my arsenal!

This is also another app that my phone cannot live without!!! This app is very convenient!!!

*Also I have used the app on a non rooted phone before with no problems..

Sometimes words aren't enough. Use this app to take screenshots to share with friends or developers to show them issues with apps. It's quick you load it, you hide it, you shake it, you view the screenshot, then send it.

You need a rooted phone but in experience has worked in non rooted phones. It is not completely stable however in non rooted phones.

Say a thousand words sometimes. Only problem, it seams you have to root access and an app like this to do it. It works perfectly and does what it is supposed to do. May not use it a lot but when I need to, it is there.

This app is a slick little way to grab a screenshot of your phone - just activate the app and when you get to the screen you want to capture, give the phone a shake. The image is then saved to your SD card.

Yep, it's for rooted users only.
