Dolphin Rules the Sea of Mobile Browsers

With tabbed browsing, gesture command capability, and pinch-zoom, Dolphin HD Browser is the cream of the crop. The only change I've had to make to it was moving the pinch-zoom icon to the lower right corner. Even watching videos are smoother with the Dolphin HD Browser. Your search for a replacement to stock browser should begin and end with Dolphin HD Browser. Feel free to dive into it and all its add-ons in your Android Market.

I only use this browser because I have been told it is the best browser for the android but I recently have been looking into using Opera. I use the EVO 4g and I love this Dolphin HD but it is the largest app on my phone;15.78MB! Which may be normal??

Kinda good, but not perfect

I kinda like it and i kinda don't like it. It's a very good browser and it's got everything you need: tabs, bookmarks, history etc...

But i don't know. Feels like something's missing. I'm not that impressed by the speed of it either. Get a opera mobile or opera mini and compare.

Dolphin Browser HD actually makes your Smart phone smarter. The visual display looks wonderful on my G2. Since the Dolphin Browser HD is enhanced for Android 2.0 and beyond, I can surf the web on my mobile device with most of the features I have on my desktop internet browser.

The browser allows me to use different Tabs to manage multiple websites I'm surfing. I can use specific swipe gestures to enter in simple commands. I can download add-ons to tailor my mobile web experience. I can also easily toggle to full screen mode and take advantage of the entire display of my mobile device.

Dolphin Browser HD is an attractive and easy to use internet browser for net enthusiasts with a refined taste for mobile web surfing. If the stock browser doesn't satisfy you, then Dolphin definitely will.

Simply the best browser available for Android. The best feature would have to be the ability to mimic a desktop computer. Youtube video not available on mobile? No problem at all, just set dolphin to desktop mode and view it in your browser. Tabbed browsing, fully customizable gesture control, and word wrapping are all just extra features to create a perfect browser.

Great replacement of the stock browser

Man, this browser is great! I love how it works and it is as stable as the stock browser. All the same functionalities as the stock plus a whole lot of more.

I love the gestures which make navigation really easy. The plugin to save the bookmarks on your SD or even sync with Google makes it a really robust app!

Since I bought my Samsung Vibrant, my first Smartphone, the first thing I was looking for was a good browser. I tried SkyFire and Opera Mini 5 and they are ok but SkyFire had some features I liked that Opera did not have and the other way around. I was using both to satisfy my browsing needs. When I installed Dolphin, it was the best of all the other browsers. Faster, beautiful, very customizable, the interface very good and the gesture system amazing. In 1 days of using it I was convince this is the browser I was looking for and uninstalled SkyFire and Opera Mini 5.

Latest update fixed the lag, etc. I like how you can pick your add-ons to avoid clutter.

Best Mobile Browser yet

This browser puts a Google chrome like interface in your mobile device, with tabbing, bookmarking, tab browsing, but with a good catch- It's UI is very optimized for the hand held touchscreen. It supports pinch zoom, easy navigation and big enough buttons yet good scaling, gesture commands (you can draw a shape like say an 'f' to quickly go to facebook).
Further it supports many add-ons, themes and widgets. The only downside is that some of these very cool add-ons (like password manager) require money for full features. Limited free versions of addons are still fully functional with limits to numbers (like passwords, or open tabs). Though it can still use functionality of the native android browser which is pretty good by itself.
It would be more of a 4.5 rating if the browser scrolling were a little more smoother and add-ons were completely free. Also the developer is working on optimizing performance and I'm sure with Android 2.2 will will go crazy fast. It performs great on my DroidX running stock Android 2.1

This browser completely replaced the default android browser for me. It support tabs and flash video and has a great UI setup for Bookmarks and browser addons. Overall I think this may be the best browser out there.

I download the Dolphin HD browser mainly on a whim to see if would help with some browser compatiblity issues I was encountering. I foudn the software to be very easy to use, much more versitle than the default browser, and to render lsightly faster. Tabbed browsing and the ability to close the software from the menu is a definite plus, and I was able to use facebook and it's games without a hitch.
