Review of CoPilot Live

Each smartphone has an built-in GPS which allows you to use your phone as a GPS-device. Google/Android do offer Google Maps and Google Navigation but these applications require data connection to refresh your location on the map (note: Google Navigation does offer some offline caching).

CoPilot Live installs completely on your phone, storing maps of your region/country on your phone and making them available without any data connection. This enables you to use your phone as a navigation device even when there is no data connection like abroad or in areas where there is no connection possible. CoPilot Live offers the following great features: POI, speed cameras, lane assist. All these features make sure that you will love CoPilot Live.

At first I was a bit shocked by the steep-price, but after installing CoPilot Live and driving through Europe I knew I had a winner. With Google Navigation I would go bankrupt on the roaming cost while with CoPilot Live, I just had the fix cost of purchasing CoPilot.
