Shout is a freeform chatroom app for the Android platform that lets you do exactly what it says, shout. All you do in this app is talk to other individuals using this app in either the main room or a private channel.
This app is a bit confusing and definitely frustrating. First off, it doesn't seem like there's anything determining who is in your main lobby. Basically, you could be talking to a good handful of people from all over the country, so be prepared to watch you message scroll out of sight in a matter of seconds.
You can always create a private room if you like, but you'll have to convince others to join it. Considering there's no private messaging, you'll have to broadcast it out and hope that people you don't want in there will avoid it. Chances are they won't and they'll actually just bug you until you quit the app completely.
Nothing is censored in this app at all. There's no form of moderation, so expect to see awful things written down next to hundreds of myspace links and gmail addresses. This app is definitely interesting and could be the answer for a local social networking app that the Android platform could use, but it won't be there for quite some time.
