Recalls are an unfortunate reality in our world. Products are released in haste or are imported from countries with less-than-ideal production practices. Luckily, we do have a system in place that ensures buyer safety by allowing companies to recall their faulty or hazardous products.
But sometimes this process can be a bit confusing and it can be hard to know just what products are being recalled. The governmental site does provide an adequate way of seeing product recalls but always requires you to look it up when you have time to sit down. Thankfully, the service has been brought over to Android phones by way of a mobile app. The app gives users the ability to lookup recent recalls on the go as well as scan barcodes to see if any recalls are available. There wasn’t much more to the app. It offers some helpful tips for safety with objects like pools and windows.
Overall, this app doesn’t function as an app you will use every day, but I could see it coming in handy in certain situations. If you have a family or find yourself buying a lot of appliances, this app will definitely be a good check to make sure you aren’t going to have issues down the road. Check it out.
