Panoramio is an app that allows you to view pictures geo-tagged for the area you're in, using several different methods. Depending on how you want to view the pictures and how far away they are, you can view them as a list, directly on a map, or in radar mode.

When you first load up the app, it will default to map view. The app will locate you and provide a general radius of where you are depending on whether or not you have GPS turned on. If you'd like to move into list view, all you need to do is press the Search Panoramio button. After you select an image you like, you can then load it up on the map to get an idea of how close it is.

To use this app, you do need to download the radar package first. This package is listed on the Android market and can't be opened independantly. Instead, apps call on it to provide a radar view of whatever its looking for. This function has a lot of uses in many different apps and will actually update as you continue to move closer to your location.

If you like looking at pictures of places before you get to them, then this app is definitely worth looking into. It's also really interesting to try out the radar feature and get an idea of how that will definitely become more widely used in future apps.
