Mushroom Wars is a simple game for the Android platform. In this game, the objective is to wipe out all of your enemies or take over the largest area of the board before all the spaces are filled in. This game is light on the content and animation, but is still fairly interesting.
To start the game you’ll need to press the menu button. From here you’ll select New Game and configure the game to your liking. You can play with up to four players if you’d like. These players can either be human or computer with three different difficulty levels. You can also set teams by setting players as the same color.
Once the game starts off you’ll be given the option to move your mushroom. Moving one square will clone your mushroom. Moving two squares will move your mushroom. The maximum you can move is two squares, so you’ll need to keep this in mind when planning your strategy. When a mushroom is placed next to enemy mushrooms on adjacent squares, all the enemy mushrooms will be killed and replaced with your mushrooms. You win the game by destroying all your opponents or by having the most mushrooms on the board at the end of the game.
Mushroom Wars is definitely fun to play, but it gets boring fast. Granted you won’t really play the same game twice, but it’s a repetitive game with awkward graphics of mushrooms attacking each other. If you’re looking for a game to play for a bit and then delete, definitely check out Mushroom Wars.
