FirePin is a trip tracking app for the Android platform. This app allows you to utilize the GPS in your Android phone to keep track of where you're going and upload it to the web. If you're not moving while using this app, it's not going to provide much in the way of results.
This app is honestly very confusing to use and has no instructions whatsoever. Pressing the menu button pulls up four options: Start, Share, Maps, and Settings. Start will consider the point where you pressed the button your starting point on this trip. Share opens up your contacts to send the trip to your friends and family. Maps launches the website for FirePin and brings you to your profile. Settings allows you to name your trip.
There isn't much to this app, but when you're trying to remember a specific path and you happen to get a clear GPS signal, it's definitely cool. Unfortunately, the app is very confusing to work with, making it unlikely that people will want to stick with it. The concept is great, but this app is a little rough around the edges.
