Check out, because your kids deserve the very best educational apps!

Fast Food Calorie Counter is an app for the Android platform that provides you with information for 41 different fast food restaurants. This app has a fairly misleading title considering it doesn’t actually count anything, it just shows you information.

When you load the app up for the first time you’ll be presented with the logos for 41 fast food restaurant chains. All of the logos have the name of the location in them, so you won’t have any trouble figuring out what you’re looking at. Tapping on a specific logo will bring you to a straight out list of all the foods that place has to offer.

Above the list of foods there is a search bar. This can make the process of finding what type of damage that oh so unhealthy meal just had on your body. The items listed out here not only include the proper name for the meal, but you can also see the calories, fat, carbs, protein, and fiber listed out directly below them. Tapping on any of them will bring up the same information, but with a line next to it.

There are a lot of pieces to this app that are definitely confusing. It seems like the counter functionality should have been in there somewhere, but if it is, it’s impossible to find. The lines next to all the statistical information is pretty confusing as well, considering we don’t know what it means when it’s all the way to the right. If you’re to embarrassed to ask the fast food place for their nutritional information, download this app.
