As the weather heats up, so will baseball season. Catch every score update and news bite, with the help of these Android apps. Whether you’re tracking your home team or managing your fantasy players, there’s an Android app to keep you plugged in anytime, anywhere.

The pros At Bat Lite is all ready for the 2011 season. Create a custom home screen to follow your favorite team, and post a score widget on your Android home screen. This app posts news, schedules and team rosters, along with team stats. Watch live games (if you’re an MLB.TV subscriber) with the full version, which costs $14.99.

ESPN ScoreCenter is your central app for all things sports, with baseball scores, and every other league. Track your favorite teams and view game schedules. Flipping through live scores is quick with ScoreCenter’s simple interface, so you can glance at scores and get back to work. This Android app is free.

Pro Baseball delivers sports news, live scores and stats, with options to stream news for your favorite team. This free Android app aggregates updates from several sources, including ESPN and Yahoo! Watch video clips and flip through photos, or share news items with friends. There’s quick-tab access for team blogs, top stories, batting averages and more.

This Android app is $4.99, and has a free sister app for tracking baseball news.

Fantasy Predictor lets you manage your basketball and football teams, but plans a baseball release this month. According to the developer, you’ll be able to manage your roster, view related news and run predictions based on season stats. The free app also comes with team schedules, and is a league management aid.
