Review for Official eBay Android App

APPOLICIOUS ADVISOR RATING:

4 of 5 bars
  • PRICE: Free
  • TASTY: Full eBay functionality including notifications and the ability to list items.
  • BUMMER: Not as quick or easy as on a computer.
  • COOL: Managing lots of auctions, and knowing exactly when you’ve been outbid.

Full access to eBay is offered wherever you go with the auction site’s official Android app. From searching for items to making bids, to tracking your own sales, the app has everything you could need with an easy tablet interface.

Like the website, it’s divided into tabs so you can look through your “My eBay” section to see how your auctions are doing, or get notifications that you’ve been outbid. You can even put together your own listings from the app and start auctions by filling out a few forms.

The Official eBay app isn’t the easiest way to use all of eBay’s features – a real keyboard can be helpful when searching or adding listings – but it is handy for keeping track of items you’re hoping to win, or for watching bids roll in on your own auctions.
