Video games are still on the rise as an entertainment medium, and with all the new purchases comes a lot of used games. Up until recently, there weren’t too many local ways to trade out your games unless you wanted to make a deal on Craigslist or trade in at a store like Gamestop. These two options work fine, but it was about time for a new player to jump into the mix. Best Buy now offers game trade-ins for all your used games.
Unlike stores like Gamestop, Best Buy has put out an app that will allow you to scan or enter in a game you have and see how much they will take for it. After scanning all the games I wanted to trade in, I took my total to the store and they gave me in-store credit.
The app also offers bonuses to Reward Zone members and info on the newest releases for the different consoles. It’s definitely a handy app if you don’t mind turning your games into in-store credit. It also happened to get me the most money for my games aside from Craigslist. Check it out.
