Grab GrubHub Android app to find out what's for dinner

by Kate Currin

If you've ever asked yourself "What's for dinner?" then the free GrubHub Food Delivery app for Android is for you. Remember that episode of Sex and the City when Miranda's Chinese takeout lady knows what she wants before she orders? Skip the single-hood humiliation by ordering from all the restaurants in your city with this free food delivery app.

The GrubHub app has more than 13,000 menus from restaurants in cities across America: like Chicago, Boston, San Diego, New York, Portland and Seattle. Simply select your location and the type of food, restaurant or cuisine you're looking for – goodbye pizza Friday. If you live in a big city, you might not have to ever order the same thing twice!

I had no idea some neighborhood places – like burrito joints and bakeries – would deliver to my home. Even some of the restaurants and small grocers around my office deliver. Now, whenever my co-workers and I can't decide what's for lunch, we pull out our Android phones, and order from wherever we want with the GrubHub app.

The app allows you to order online free or to simply call the restaurant to place an order. There are also user reviews to help you make a decision.

Did you know some Dunkin Donuts in Chicago deliver? Oh, this could get bad.

Unfortunately, the Android app version doesn't allow you to save data, such as addresses for delivery, like the iPhone version does.
