Good Buy Gaming by worldwidewonder
Best Buy Gaming is an app that I keep on my T-Mobile G2 simply because it's the easiest way to search for Best Buy's better deals when it comes to my console based gaming needs. Every now and then, Best Buy offers a good deal on PS3/360/Wii games or accessories and this app eliminates the hassle of navigating the bestbuy.com website on my mobile device. Best Buy Gaming filters out the wide selection of televisions, computers, and other electronics and focuses primarily on popular video game titles. Upon start up, Best Buy Gaming attempts to locate the nearest Best Buy store. After it identifies the location, the app then gives you the option of searching Top Games, New and Pre-Releases and Special Offers for members of Best Buy's Gamers Club. The latest headlines in regards to the Video Game Industry scroll across the top of the screen, allowing easy access to the full article with just a tap of your finger. One useful feature of the Best Buy Gaming App is the ability to look up Trade-in Values for games that you already own. For instance, if you've purchased a game that no longer holds your interest, you can either scan or enter in the UPC code (or a keyword) and the app will tell you how much money you would get (in the form of a Best Buy Gift Card) if you decided to Trade-in that game. The application will also help you locate the Best Buy stores in your area that accept trade-ins. Best Buy Gaming is not the "best" app ever made. However, if you use it wisely, you can identify some "pretty good" deals on the video games and accessories you'd like to purchase and save some of the money you would normally spend at a Big Box retail store.
