I love programs that allow me to take control over my phone and settings my carrier thinks I shouldn't play with. I actually prefer to underclock to save battery life. It doesnt really slow down any thing where I have my settings set at. The CPU rarely runs at full speed for a period of time, unless you overclock for it to do so, so I can save on battery and heat without taking a performance hit.
Battery booster recommends to use this app in conjuction with Battery booster. I don't think it is going to make a difference but will give it a shot. It does have a task killer to kill individual task (but so doesn't a few other apps I have). I really think the Android OS does a good job managing all this by itself. I should concentrate on apps I can reaqlly use than these Apps.
Simple concept. I found that it was hard to pop balloons that were close to each other due to phone not recognizing two different fingers in the same spot. Also there is no penalty for hitting wrong balloons, so you can just keep pecking at your screen with no consequences.
I really havent seen a game I liked that required this, including the game I installed with this. I am getting to the point if I have to install this for a game, I will probably just pass on it.
I will use a coupon for something I would normally buy, as long as it is convenient to do so. I live in a rural Maine town and the coupons it was offering required me to drive 45+ miles away. Not very convenient. I guess if you live in a more populated area this app would be okay.
..... wouldn't rely on the number as being accurate. I would put this in the same category as Metal Detector. It seams to do what it says, but is it really?
I like the info it provides for my battery and the few tweeks it has and the ability to turn on/off wifi and bluetooth. However, I am not convinced this app will save my battery life any longer than what I get now. I use my phone, therefore I drain my battery.
Saw this app feature here and saw the video. Looked good enough to spend the money and give it a try. It is definately different than anything I played before and found it to be very neat. For the price, you cant go wrong with this game. It is anything but simple.
I just rooted my desire a week or so ago. This was all so new to me. I went from a trac phone to this desire. I was at awe when I first got my desire but soon disappointed that after installing less than 20 apps I was low in memory. I then had to uninstall an app to install another. I was no longer in awe with my phone. After hours of research on the net I found out I could root my desire and then install custom roms for it. This program is a must have for those who root and want to install a new rom or back up the one that is already on there. BTW, since rooting my phone and putting a custom Cyanogen rom on it, I am more at awe with my Desire than I was when I bought it.
This was copied from my Rom Manager Premium. Same program, paid version. Just got tired of it trying to load every time I use the AndroidApp App.
Wow! Where has this browser been hiding? Dolphin, Opera, Skyfire, Chrome and all other browsers out there, you better watch out for Steel. It has already become my browser of choice. I stumbled upon this last night and was amazed at the features and speed this browser has.
When I first open this app, I got a plain white window inside what looked like a really pain browser. My first thought was, you got to be kidding me. After looking through the settings, this browser is everything but plain. It actually has all or at least most features every other browser has plus others.
I read throught the comments when I first installed this app. I saw alot of requests and things that was missing in this app. I am assuming these were older comments because everything I read was addressed in this app.
I dont think I could possibly do this app justice by trying to include all it has, but it does have: bookmarks, share, full screen mode, left handed, Start with (home page, empty page, last page), initial zoom (60 to 140), load images,enable javascript,user agent, cache mode,Save form data, save password, allow cookies, clear cache, clear form data, clear password, clear history, and clear cookies.
It doesn't have pinch to zoom, however better it has a half pie shape thing that will appear if you hold your finger on the screen that you can zoom in and out. It is much better than the pinch, at least in my opinion. It has multiple windows, not tabs which I find better as well.
This dev has done this right in all aspects and it is still faster than any browser I have tried. Don't take my word for it, try it. It may look like a plain vanilla browser, but don't let the looks fool you.

This app has no thrills unless of course you lose your phone somewhere. It basiclly lets you put contact information that identifies you in the event you lose your phone. You are able to see this information on a locked screen, so you can keep your phone protected that way still. It is one of those apps you hope you never have to use.
If not better. It is not bloated with all the extra crap the computer version brings. The UI is awesome. You can still chat with all the smileys and such. Yahoo did this app right.
This is the same program you have on your computer so I dont really have to describe it to you. Having said that, it is really a great program but unless you use this everyday for some purpose, this app probably doesnt need to reside on your phone. I say that because it it takes up a lot of memory. I would love to keep this app on my phone because it is awesome, but I am not willing to give up the space for it.
But that wears off quickly. Specially with its massive 15 MB download and the space it takes up on your phone, no matter where you install it.
The program itself is a talking cat that repeats anything you say to it. You can pat and scratch him. You hit the paw icon and he will scratch your screen. Tap him in the head a few times and he will fall back as being knocked out. I will admit it was cute and actually funny for the 15 minutes the app stayed on my phone.
Great app and it works as advertised. Flip through the gallery of video, tap it and watch the video within the application. You can even share the video via twitter of facebook.
Few remarks; unable to download video so you could watch them offline and using the twitter homepage to share, would be better to use the Android sharing options so you can pick your own twitter client.
I installed this browser to replace Dolphin browser as I thought Dolphin was too large. Dolphin is large for a reason, code that makes for a good user experience. The Infinity browser has some good features. The menu is extensive from simple things such as a button for entering in a url, a full screen button and multiple tabs.
There are a few down sides, that, in my opinion, outweigh the ups. There is no way of knowing which tab is in focus. The extra buttons reduce the screen viewing area. The pictures for the features don't link for me; except for the exit button.
These draw backs, though annoying, were compounded by the applications continuous crashing. Maybe my Hero is too old, or maybe the application needs a lot of improvement. Either way, while I run my Hero I won't be running this browser. The search for me, for a good lightweight browser, continues.
This app is really good for bikers who like to explore new places as it is simple to use and has lots of information available on the database.
What i like about this app is that normaily when I go on a trip I take my bike out with the sat nav on it and plan a trip in advance. This works great but there are days when I don't feel like going to that trouble or maybe I have rented a bike in an unfamiliar area, etc. This App allows me to find fun places to ride in a fuss free way and make the most of such trips.
There are a couple of small things which could be improved for the future but as there is also an accompanying website for this app, most of what's missing can be found there.
Really a good use of a mobile for a biker nut!

If you enter your phones gallery but fail to see some media files use this to rescan your android device and it should then show up.

Appbrain oh my. I use this app everyday to look up apps and help me install them. It keeps a list on their website of apps I have on my phone and when i reset my phone I can reinstall the apps I had before.
While it offers reviews and recommendations, I mostly use appolicious for that. I like appolicious's recommendation system more and its social aspects a lot more than appbrain.
appolicious doesn't install apps but appbrain tries to upgrade everything on the phone and if a few apps weren't meant to be upgraded you likely will end up with a broken app. So be careful.
I think this is a great app for checking into things like tv shows and movies, games, and other daily life tasks or activities. However I do not like very much the recommendation system, it needs an overhaul. Recommendations were ok but often very old or seemed out of context. Great service and you can comment on what you are doing which allows communication with others and makes it "social". Not bad.
