Fairyland

Fun fantasy elements which cleverly mixes elements of strategy, time management and simulation, plus one or two surprises along the way.

Nice way to back up all your Android stuff to the cloud.

Worth dabbling

Classic word game that can also improve your vocabulary skills.

Good puzzles

Nice, tough puzzle game which kind of crosses crosswords (without clues!) with Sudoku. Get yer brain ready to be taxed.

Wordulous

Simple word association game, and it does it well. Doesn't pack too much of a challenge, but could be good for kids.

Tough cookies

Here's a word game that will really flex your brain. You need to know a bit of trivia and general knowledge as well as be a wordsmith with this one.

Wordy

Simple but effective. Multiple game modes make this one have some longevity, as do the different skill levels.

Android Grr

Android has good potential, but it's so annoying when an application clearly crashes or is hogging all your resources, and you need to go through the long process of finding the kill app button in the settings. With this, you can multi-kill all the apps or some of the apps running and be done with it. It's a must for Android, probably can be improved, but this is the free version, so I assume the pro version has better features.

Cool

I played this game a few years ago, it's pretty cool. I honestly didn't like the controls, but, it's free and it's pretty cool to use. Usually when I play this game, it's because I don't have anything else to do, or because I'm stuck on a plane. Again, it's free, nothing to lose. Plus if you're a developer, there's a really good talk on the making of this game from Google I/O.

I'm a developer and I'm always testing my apps with different internet connection configurations. I found this app to be really useful. You can switch to 3g for a specific period of time. So if I'm maybe in a low wifi area where I know wifi isn't going to work I can turn it off for half an hour and it'll auto turn back on after the timer.

Nice idea

It's a nice idea but come on, there's a big banner with an advert on it. I uninstalled this app straight away from disappointment.

Above Average

It's good as a database of things around you. But, it's really missing opening times or at least a link to a more info web page to help google the opening time. I guess it does have a contact number for the store/shop, but I'm a bit of a recluse when it comes to phone calls. Close but no cigar in this case.

Best browser

I really like what they've done with this. I use Chrome on the desktop and it's my browser of choice there. On Android, Chrome is again my browser of choice. There are sometimes some quirks, but in general, it's very slick to use. The UI for switching tabs is very well done and you can even get it to synchronise your bookmarks and settings with your desktop version. Best browser on Android.

Meh

Don't get me wrong, I'm sure this app is useful for a lot of people. But for me, all I want to do is be able to locate a store around me that's open. Instead I'm greeted with several screens asking me to log in and shop online.

There is a find store near me option, however on my phone the progress bar just seems to go on forever and ever.

Addictive

Such a slick retro RPG! Reminds me of those old RPG games I used to play as a kid on the Nintendo. The artwork is slick, the music is awesome, and I sometimes find myself lost just playing the game. I only played the free version, but there is a download pack you can get with an in-app purchase. I would buy it, but the free version is good enough for me so far.

Recommend

This service is very useful for project and task management. It works in a web browser too and is great to organising your projects into to do lists. Very effective if you're looking to implement an agile software development task list.

This game is hard. It's fun, but hard. I don't play it often, because it's too hard for me. But, it is a really good effort and it's free! I shouldn't really complain.

I really wanted to go all T-Pain with my voice. I recorded myself singing Friday by Rebecca Black, however, when I played back my recording. I sounded just like myself. Disappointing.

Now you don't ever have to worry about those indecipherable text messages again. This app can translate them and make sure you understand every word.

The Tampa 2012 app will definitely come in handy for the convention, especially for political junkies who also happen to be Republicans.
