Ninjaaaaa....splat!

Too funny! The levels are progressively harder and I swore (yes really!) more than once that a level was impossible, but eventually proved myself wrong :) The graphics are way cute, and the sound effects even better. Nearly dropped my phone the first time I heard some of them. This is a complete game with replay-ability, and lots of style. I grabbed the paid version off Amazon app of the day. I'm kinda jealous, I wish I had programmed it :)

Physics Puzzler +

a nice play mechanic lets you guide the weasel on a parabolic path that you can see before releasing it, making your first attempt a lot more accurate than Angry Birds. Nice graphics and music, lots of level variety and some quirky characters should hold your attention a long time.

Easy time waster

This app is well done, but the replay value is too limited for a top rating, in my opinion. I found the controls responsive on my little LG Optimus S. It could really use an adventure mode with progressive levels. The shop doesn't add anything useful.

Fling!

A nice title that is simple to play, easy to put down, graphically excellent, and the puzzles don't get old. According to the leaderboards you do eventually run out of levels, but I'm a long ways off at level 16.

LWP with 15 completely different environments

Metaballs HD Live Wallpaper by Hamster Beat brings together a series of high quality live wallpaper themes which are easily interchangeable and highly customisable. With 15 preset themes, Metaballs HD Live will ensure that if you ever get tired of your current background, there will always be another high quality theme to take it’s place.

As the name suggests, Metaballs is based on a series of floating balls which peacefully make their way around your homescreen. These balls can be left to their own accord or you can alter their direction by swiping your finger over them. The collision detection of Metaballs HD Live Wallpaper is superb and makes for some great animations. When multiple balls are in close proximity to each other, gravity pulls them together to give the effect of morphing into a giant ball for a split second. Eventually the balls will bounce off each other and go their own way, leaving a colourful trail in their midst.

Perfect for both phones and tablets and is definetely recommended.

Travel smart

I like how this app combines so many functions in one. It's a travel guide with maps, but also good for journaling, taking notes and sharing them with friends.

Echoer is a crowd-sourced app that lets you only see/hear from folks in your immediate vicinity about cool stuff they're observing or how they're feeling.

Great idea

There are specific phones out there for elderly or visually impaired folks, but they tend to get expensive. Android is so adaptable that BIG Launcher can make life a lot easier for people, even with older smartphones.

Freaky

Nice and creepy game based on the meme of the same name. It's sure to make you jump out of your skin!

This bird has flown

Though this still needs some development, it's a cracking idea. All the function of a full Twitter client contained within a widget so you can see and interact with your feed without even opening a full app.

Trivia & Costumes

The comedy network's game centered around the 2012 Presidential Election is good fun. You answer trivia questions about politics, customize your avatar, and compete against other people. Let the games begin!

Great idea from AT&T

This app reduces a lot of the distractions that can lead to car accidents. It blocks the ability to text and silences text and email notifications while you're driving. Get it for yourself and get it for your teen drivers. In fact, anyone with AT&T service and a compatible device should give this app a shot.

There are tons of baby-related apps out there. Lots of good stuff. But when it comes to your baby's health, only the best will do. I can't tell you if this app is right for you, but it is definitely worth your consideration.

DD rules. App is probably only of interest to cops and true DD fanatics, but for those folks, this app offers some great features like a store locator as well as some cool payment and DD gift-giving options.
