Much more than a clock

  • App review for 1010ti.me Clock Studio
  • Posted by pmduque April 27, 2011
  • Recommended for Road Warriors, Workout Junkies, Students, Career People or Tech/Social Networking Junkies

1010ti.me is a wolf under a sheep skin!

Although it looks like the tipical full screen/live wallpaper/widget clock application it's actually a clock editor... and the level of customization is amazing.

You can use the stocked clocks or download new ones to use as a live wallpaper or a widget but as soon as you get tired with those, just open up the editor and change them as you like.

You can add battery meter, GSM and Wifi signal, available memory, change timezone, you name it. You can also attach bitmaps to hands or faces so your clock will almost look as a real mechanical one!

  • App review for LightSaber
  • Posted by jelagasse April 26, 2011
  • Recommended for Tech/Social Networking Junkies

Besides being able to pick your light saber depending on which protagonist you feel like playing today, what makes this app particularly fun is the option for it to play Anakin's theme music while you have an epic light saber with all your friends.

Stick figures never looked so good

the subtitle of xkcd is "a webcomic of romance, sarcasm, math, and language", and while I don't always get the math jokes, three out of four ain't bad. If you enjoy stick figures, whimsy, puns, men in hats who do strange things, and ferrets, you'll love xkcd.

Need a new band? Done!

Pandora is awesome for discovering bands you never knew you loved and were missing all this time. The app does use a lot of data, but as long as you're on an unlimited plan you're in the clear.
